ow do feminists and the media sleep when our beds are burning? Remain silent at all costs. Take the report of the five-year-old American girl in Idaho who was raped by three Syrian “refugees” and then urinated on. According to some news reports about the incident, the local media is refusing to cover the event out of fear of calling a duck a duck. In this case, that would be radical Islam. But the duplicity of the Fifth Estate isn’t the only one to ignore the obvious.
A 20 minute perusal of the Feminist Majority’s press releases reveals they, too, are seemingly not outraged by the millions of women being raped, forced into sex slavery or forced to wear the hijab—right here in America. Rather, their talking points are focused on a women’s ovaries and reproductive “rights.”
That being said, there is certainly no shortage of outrage by feminists, only it is being directed at white male “entitlement.” Breitbart reported on a prominent social feminist, going by the twitter handle Brienne of Snarth, who blamed the recent death of the toddler in Disneyland on white male entitlement:
Obviously, this logic borders way beyond the absurd. Then there’s the Iranian cleric who recently made the statement that climate change is due to “improperly” dressed women. You read that correct. Woman not dressed in a sack are causing climate change. In another Breitbart report, this twisted Imam reportedly told the Iranian Student News Agency, “My office has received photos of women next to the dry Zayandeh-rud River pictured as if they are in Europe.” Tabatabi-nejad then added, “It is these sorts of acts that cause the river to dry up even further.”
Just last month, the Iranian regime arrested eight Instagram models for “promoting immoral and un-Islamic culture and promiscuity” by appearing on the social media without wearing the mandatory hijab.
And so how does the Feminist Majority respond to the news of this little girl raped in Idaho and to all of these women subjected to Sharia law? Crickets. And lest it appear that I am picking on the Feminist Majority, what of the International Women’s Democracy Center? Crickets. Not one press release on the suppression of women worldwide. The National Organization for Women? Crickets.
Our beds are burning and those who purportedly speak for the rights of women everywhere are shamefully silent. When political correctness trumps the news of the rape of a five-year-old child we have crossed over a very evil line. When we are no longer able to speak freely about human rights or atrocities committed in the name of Allah, we are in danger of being a soul-less society.
And don’t even get me started on the church. Where is the outrage from the pulpits of America? I am afraid to say that this generation of “Christians” will be held accountable for their silence the same as the church that never raised the alarm over Hitler’s atrocities. No, today’s “Christians” are flocking to mega churches that resemble corporate motivational seminars where they are told with iconic fervor by hip “pastors” that they are going to be blessed, blessed, blessed. Pa-leeze.
Unless Americans refuse to take dangerous refugees that do not hold to our most fundamental rights, such as the fact that women in the west are actually considered people, with rights, we are perpetuating the subjection of women for future generations to come. This is not progressive. This is not humane. This is not America.
