Monster’s Ball

People worldwide are more oppressed, distressed, and anxious than ever before, and with good reason. The U.K. Sun recently reported that experts are warning that the planet is closer to World War III than we ever have been in the last 60 years. These experts, including biblical prophecy scholars, are heralding the dawn of a New Age. And if you are older like me, you have heard this refrain throughout your lifetime.

In 1969, the 5th Dimensions’ hit, “The Age of Aquarius” climbed the charts. In the 1970s, the threat of nuclear annihilation darkened the human psyche, in the 1980s, author Marilyn Ferguson released her best-selling book, The Aquariun Conspiracy, and the dawn of the New Age took off. More recently, the media flooded us with the 2012 Mayan doomsday prophecies and the Nostradamus prophecies. It’s as if people feel there is something amiss in the cosmos.

When asked by his disciples privately on the Mount of Olives when He would return, Jesus told of the conditions that could be expected on the planet marking his return. Interestingly, after He warns them of false messiahs, famine, earthquakes, and war, He wraps up his conversation with a peculiar reference to the days of Noah: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:37-39)

Many people have read this passage of scripture and believed it to mean, “business as usual.” But was Jesus’ answer really this vague? Not likely, and not according to many biblical scholars and prophets who have examined what was actually occurring in the days of Noah. Namely, what was specifically so unique during Noah’s time that God personally intervened in the affairs of mankind?

The account of Noah and the flood begins in Genesis 6 and a careful study reveals that, like today, there had been irrevocable tampering of mankind’s DNA. Something had occurred in the world during Noah’s time that made people less than fully human.

chimera

Throughout the Bible, angels are referred to the sons of God, and we are told in Hebrews 12:22 that a third of an “innumerable company of angels” chose to rebel with Satan, who was cast out of heaven. And by all biblical accounts this mischief with the human race began sometime after the fall of Satan but before the flood:

“When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (fallen angels) saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal, their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

In this passage of scripture, it is clear that a very odd thing has occurred. These fallen angels were somehow procreating with human women, producing a hybrid being the Bible refers to as the Nephilim.

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” (Gen. 6:4)

These hybrid beings became what we recognize today as the Titans and other Greek and Egyptian gods and chimeras that have been relegated to the pages of folklore and mythology.

In this often overlooked account of Noah and the flood, scripture makes a point to communicate to us that there was something different about Noah when juxtaposed against his peers. “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” (Gen. 6:9)

The account of Noah and the flood begins by telling us that Noah was “perfect” in his generations. This seems contradictory to what we are told about the human condition elsewhere in the Bible. “No one is righteous—not even one.” (Rom. 3:10) However, this passage of scripture is not telling us of the condition of Noah’s spirit, but rather that his humanity had not been tampered with. His DNA was “perfect” in his generations.

Today, tampering with human DNA is once again rampant. Trans-humanism, the belief that people can be enhanced physically, intellectually, and psychologically, is driving much of the scientific and technological fields today. The tinkering in labs of the human genome is so widespread and unregulated that a UNESCO panel of scientists, philosophers, lawyers, and government ministers has called for a temporary ban on genetic “editing” of the human genome.

And while there has been a call for a wide public debate on genetic modification of human DNA, it is occurring unabated. It is almost impossible not to read something new every day in the media. This week’s headlines included multiple articles on sexbots and procreation being possible without the egg of a woman. In fact, there is even a transhumanism political party, with candidate Zoltan Istvan running for president in 2016.

In conjunction with science, artificial intelligence, and robotics developments, is the seeded theory that aliens will be returning to earth. You can read about this phenomena and what it might mean here. Jesus warns us to not be deceived. And make no mistake about it, He did not come to save transhumanist, chimeras, or lost souls in a petri dish. No, Jesus gave His life for the human race.

There is a dawning of a New Age and the closing of the age of grace. The window of opportunity is quickly closing. Ecclesiastes tells us that, “There is nothing new under the sun. What has been done before will be done again.” There is an expected end to the history of the human race. It is time to pick your side and who you will follow.
