“We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies and competitive values.”
—John F. Kennedy
can’t believe I’m even deeming to type more than a paragraph on CNN’s Jim Acosta’s brand of journalism, but here I am. Jim reminds me of one of the mean boys on the elementary playground who would push you from behind and then snicker with his other mean buddies as you lay sprawled in the mud. It’s that psychopathic quality he wears, his very own brand of an elite and smug je ne sais quoi, which he dons along with his suit before pontificating into a hot mic or screaming at President Trump in front of foreign dignitaries that makes him so easy to hate. In fact, it’s Jim’s arrogance that made him think it was safe to poke the bear.
For anymore who is following Trump at his rallies, Jim’s latest brouhaha started when he stood at the Trump rally in Miami, Florida to report live for CNN and the crowd began to loudly boo and heckle him with shouts of “Fake news!” and “CNN sucks!” He fired back saying, “I mean, honestly, it felt like we weren’t in America anymore. I don’t know how to put it any more plainly than that. Americans should not be treating their fellow Americans in this way.”
So where is Jim’s outrage over how Antifa is treating their fellow Americans in Oregon where they regularly beat up and maim people who gather to pray or attend a parade? Where is his outrage over Americans heckling and mistreating Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and her family in a Virginia restaurant? Where is his outrage over Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s treatment in Washington, D.C. where she was run out of a Mexican restaurant? Where is his outrage that Hillary Clinton goes free after smashing telephones, using BleachBit on her computers and routinely allowing Huma Abedin to forward State Department emails to her personal computer?
Where was the outrage from CNN over Bill Clinton’s tarmac meeting with Loretta Lynch during an FBI investigation or when Hillary Clinton sold our uranium to those dangerous Russians she goes on and on about? Obama’s midnight express to Iran with a jet-full of cash? The never-ending Mueller Russian-collusion investigation? I could go on, but you all know the atrocities that have been committed by our own government while CNN remains silent.
Jim is right that Hannity is partisan, but the difference between him and Acosta is he doesn’t try to pretend otherwise. Hannity isn’t reporting for Fox News on the streets or a part of the White House press pool as Acosta is. The “Hannity” show is political conservative commentary, not disguised reporting. And guess what, Jim? We deplorables actually understand the difference.
Look, you can’t change a sociopathic liar like Acosta and being “nice” signals to others like him that you are weak. Remember, these are the people who push you from behind on the playground because they perceive you as a target. The invisible majority has found its vocal chords and are pushing back on the schoolyard bully—and poking the bear just got real for Jim.
When Sean Hannity reported on the crowds behavior towards CNN on his own Fox News show and then added his own spin on why Trump supporters hate CNN, Jim got triggered. He fired back in a tweet:
Hannity is a propagandist for profit, peddling lies every night. He says he’s just a talk show host, not a journalist. But he’s injecting poison into the nation’s political bloodstream warping public attitudes about the press. I’m confident in the long run the truth will prevail.

The left compares words to violence, so Acosta’s take on the crowd’s distaste for him is the same as violence to this elk. It’s the same reason college students are demanding “safe” spaces from the words of speakers they don’t agree with. The insanity of this duplicity is Acosta and others at CNN are actually condoning the real violence being perpetuated on the left via their silence and lack of outrage.
There has been much talk of whether CNN is part of the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird, its covert program to infiltrate the media that began more than 60 years ago. It is well known that broadcast journalist Anderson Cooper interned for the CIA while attending Yale as an undergraduate in the late 1980s. Cooper’s great uncle, William Henry Vanderbilt III, was an Executive Officer of the Special Operations Branch of the Office of the Strategic Services under the spy organization’s founder William Donovan. Whether Acosta is part of the CIA cabal or just a brainwashed and misguided zealot of the left, is up for debate.
The point is that Americans have woken up to the fact that American media is controlled, whether it is through CIA-owned google, Facebook or twitter, and they understand the implications. I am certain that there is a percentage of Trump supporters who mindlessly support everything the President says or does, but the majority of us just want to be free. And it is this independent and very American spirit that is pushing back against the Acostas of the world. Reign well.
