Capitol Hill’s Bread and Circuses of Justice Is a Train Wreck

“So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.” Isaiah 59:14

The left holds a tri-part Holy Ghost theology of racism, victimhood, and duplicity, often hard to detect but always present. Except when it isn’t. The shenanigans on the Hill this week coupled with the outrage machine of corporate social justice warriors and feminist screaming about their abortion rights is patently obvious even to the politically unastute. Trying to follow the news has been so daunting in fact that I haven’t had a moment to burn my Nike gear or break down the obvious mental illness of red-hooded feminists.

The New York Time’s latest stunt to attack President Donald Trump’s mental state in an anonymous op-ed brought me full-stop, however. For those of us who pay close attention to such things, I’ve learned to disengage from a current “news” cycle to discern what’s really going on. Not surprisingly, I smelled a foul assault on our sensibilities a full 450 miles away from the turgid swamp of D.C. The publication of the NYT’s op-ed along with Bob Woodward’s book, Fear: Trump in the Whitehouse, are meant to once again float the idea that Trump is either senile or insane. Except anyone who actually watches his almost daily speeches and press conferences know this isn’t true.

The lies, manufactured outrage, campaigning, grandstanding and doublespeak found in both the Kavanaugh and social media hearings coupled with the Nike and feminist outrage was also a full bread and circuses attack against the truth. Justice has, indeed, been driven back. The permanent ban of Alex Jones, the founder of the right’s top news and commentary outlet Infowars, from Twitter was just the icing on a poison cake Americans have been served this week.

Politics has always been a dirty business but the spirit behind these attacks is nothing short of unveiled evil. Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) confirmed in the first day of hearings on Tuesday, that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s team spearheaded and coordinated more than 60 disruptions by Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats during opening statements in the hearings to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court. Is this how the left proposes to govern?

Outside the hearing, journalist caught on film protestors being paid to disrupt the hearings. Inside, Linda Sarsour, who is backed by both Soros and CAIR, had to be removed after causing a disturbance. Meanwhile, presidential hopefuls senators Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Corey Booker (D-NJ) were locked in a dead heat for who could be the nastiest socialist to win the Kavanaugh “debates.”

But before I’ve been afforded the time to vet any outrage over such a dirty trick by a Senate Minority Leader, I was diverted by the kangaroo court testimony given by Twitter’s Jack Dorsey before the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Dorsey’s faux grilling yielded little save the admission by Dorsey that Twitter is part of the “town square” and—by extension—making the social media platform subject to free speech laws and paving the way for open government regulation and anti-trust lawsuits. Dorsey further admitted to shadow banning 600,000 Twitter accounts. Again, not news to anyone right of left, just the gateway language needed for regulation of a CIA cabal that already controls a weaponized Google and Facebook.

Not to be outdone in the world of surreal, Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg said her company would present “alternative facts,” which of course makes no sense. Where I come from a fact is a fact and there are no alternatives. Probably Sandberg’s most condescending statement was that Facebook aims to combat “fake news” because they want to protect us. Nothing like speaking down to millions of users like an evil school marm who thinks we are not capable of forming our own thought. Her assertions that Facebook doesn’t mess with conservatives were not only not credible but made a mockery of these so-called hearings.

Nowhere in the “debate” over censorship did we get the idea that conservatives would continue to be granted their right to free speech. And in fact, Infowars’ Alex Jones, who spoke outside the hearings, was permanently banned by Twitter following Dorsey’s so-called grilling by committee members. And just to put a finer point on it, other social media platforms were informed of this before Jones himself. It was then announced that Jones was banned from the Apple store.

No peanuts and popcorn required to watch Democratic presidential hopefuls Kamala Harris and Corey Booker make a mockery of seating a U.S. Supreme Court judge nominee.

One only has to recall that you can’t shame an alley cat anymore than you can the FBI’s abuses of the FISA Court and Obama’s illegal use of government surveillance agencies to spy and set up then presidential candidate Trump. All of which makes this bread and circuses of justice on Capitol Hill this week a mockery to intelligent and careful Americans who didn’t buy a ticket to the circus but are nonetheless left to helplessly watch.

As the circus acts preceded, Cher said, “Our lives will never be the same if f*cking train wreck Kavanaugh confirmed.” Commenting on the anonymous NYT op-ed, Senator Elizabeth Warren said, “If senior administration officials think the President of the United States is not able to do his job, then they should invoke the 25th Amendment.” And both senators Warren and Durbin say they approve of the protestors with clueless Warren saying, “I’m glad they’re here, they are exercising their free speech.” But these protestors were not by any stretch of the imagination just ordinary citizens. They were paid protestors of big advocacy groups organized by Schumer’s gang, a fact Warren is well aware of. Again, the outrage industry, not your traditional Democrat, was behind the mass hysteria that “women will die” if Kavanaugh is confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Mueller soap opera continues with the subpoena served on Dr. Jerome Corsi this week. An avowed Christian and author of Killing the Deep State, Corsi is just another victim of a terrible empire of power-drunk globalists determined not to cede their power. Corsi’s “crime” is his support and friendship with Trump and his association with Alex Jones, the left’s boogeyman used by progressives in their goal to shut down conservative media outlets in order to rig elections and remain in power.

The ramping up of the progressive left’s insults, calls to violence and evil schemes is a direct response to the right’s push back of the Democrats Holy Ghost trinity of racism, victimhood and duplicity and a populist president who is the voice for invisible America. The sleeping dog of outright socialism has been kicked. Let us not go back to sleep but continue to whack the hornet’s nest. Only light can dispel the darkness. #Reign well.
