While conservatives are often accused of wanting to live in a Utopian past, it seems the progressives in the left wing of the Democratic Party are working furiously to bring back the 1970s when the Bronx was literally burning and tourists avoided the Big Apple because of the high crime, drugs and homelessness.

And if you need any more proof that New York City is speeding back to the 70s, consider that Mayor Bill de Blasio is encouraging crime and cronyism. He defended Black Lives Matter graffiti and street art in the city at a Monday press conference but is refusing to grant the same to conservative groups such as America First Women. Unlike BLM, they must follow the standard permit and application process:

“We haven’t said no to people. We have said, if you want to apply, you can apply, but there’s a process. Look, the fact is that what I decided to do with the Black Lives Matter murals, and this came out of a meeting…with community leaders and activists who said this would be such an important thing for this city to declare, officially, that is something that, again, transcends all normal realities. Because we are in a moment in history where this had to be said and done. That’s a decision I made. But the normal process continues for anyone who wants to apply,” said de Blasio.

The NYPD announced crime statistics for June 2020 and, unsurprisingly, the numbers of gun violence and murder is off the charts when compared to 2019. For the month of June 2020, there was a 130 percent increase over last year in the number of shooting incidents in the city (205 v. 89) as the number of shootings rose in every borough of New York.

The number of people murdered also increased to 39 v. 30, (+ 30 percent) for the month, while the number of burglaries increased to 1,783 v. 817 (+118 percent) and the number of auto thefts increased to 696 v. 462 (+51 percent) citywide.

Under the Democratic leadership of Mayor de Blasio, criminals who are actually arrested by police committing violent crimes are released back onto the streets because progressives believe that requiring bond money is racist.

It also didn’t help crime when more than 1,500 prisoners were released between March and April under the guise of the COVID19 “pandemic.” As a result, many of these criminal prisoners who were released immediately perpetrated new crimes

But it isn’t just New York progressives want to see burn. Seattle wants to completely abolish their police department as Portland continues night after night with city-condoned rioting, fires and violent crime. Then there is the killing fields of Chicago under the leadership of Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

Lightfoot  appeared on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show “ReidOut” in July with anti-police deplorables Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, where she vowed to do everything possible to prevent Trump from sending 200 federal officers to the city.

Lightfoot’s pronouncement that she would decline any federal help came after the shocking shooting outside of a funeral home in broad daylight that killed at least 15 people.

President Trump in his speech at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Chicago on October 28 said it best when he declared that the crime rate in Chicago is a national embarrassment and that Chicago citizens are less safe than the citizens of Afghanistan. It is.

Worse, foreigners and sheeple, relying on our mainstream news have no idea just how bad Democratic cesspool cities have become because they refuse to accurately report on the rampant crime, drug abuse and homelessness out of fear of running amok of the racial identity mob.

Trump was also right when he said in his address that the Chicago police superintendent has bad values. Speaking to the Washington Post, Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson announced that he would not attend the conference because he felt “it just doesn’t line up with our city’s core values.”

And what exactly are those core values? Chicago, the nation’s third-largest city, clocked in 561 homicides last year. The city is, indeed, an embarrassment to this nation.

Under the values of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and leftist Governor Andrew Cuomo, disrespect for law and order has morphed into broad daylight attacks on city police officers.

Several videos went viral as early as last August showing police officers being drenched in water by a group of street thugs—with absolutely no fear of repercussions—while bystanders laughed.

These cities have reached their boiling point and the pot is beginning to spill over, aided by anarchist domestic terrorists. While political candidates tickle the ears of a forgotten middle class or the desperate poor by promising them free education and health care, they are offering no long-term solution to the crumbling infrastructure, lack of affordable housing and jobs in inner cities and blighted rural areas.

In fact, many Marxist Black Lives Matter figure heads are encouraging the mob to “burn it down.” In June during an interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum, radical Black Lives Matter leader for New York, Hawk Newsome, made some telling relevations and demands relating to the group’s far-left agenda. MacCallum said to Newsome, “You said it, ‘burn it down, it’s time.’ So that makes me think that you want to ‘burn it down.’”

“I just want black liberation and black sovereignty by any means necessary,” responded Newsome.

The New York City police union that represents New York City Police Department officers voted “no confidence” in their commissioner, James O’Neill, and the city’s mayor, Bill de Blasio, last past August and matters have only grown worse sense the death of George Floyd.

Patrick Lynch, the union’s long-time president said when speaking to NBC, “For years, Mayor de Blasio has demonized police officers and undermined our efforts to protect our city.”

No one doubts that Democratic-run cities have become war zones, with gangs trafficking drugs and perpetuating violence and where inner city youth are running wild in homes with no fathers.

If the annual U.S. Conference of Mayors, which convened this past June 28 to July 1 in Honolulu is any indication of what we can expect from Democrats in the years to come, cities will continue to devolve into third-world countries.

Much of the organization’s agenda and many of the speakers were not promoting practical, real-world solutions to education, crime, employment and homelessness but rather on solving such issues as global warming and pushing for universal gun control.

Candace Owens, the leader of Blexit, an organization that encourages black people to leave the Democratic Party, said in her introduction for Trump at its second annual Black Leadership Summit in October, “For decades we have been disrespected by the Democrats. We have empowered their party, lined the pockets of their politicians, and gotten positively nothing in return for our blind allegiance and faithfulness.”

And blacks are paying attention. In fact, black support for Trump has reached historic levels. A September Hill-Harris poll shows Trump  received 8 percent of the black vote in 2016. Today, he has 49 percent support among blacks.

The media, in lockstep with the Democratic party, has been relentless in trying to paint Trump as a racist white supremacist, but thanks to black leaders such as Candace Owens, who are waking up black Americans to the failures of Democrat policies, the tide is turning. The question is whether or not it will be enough.

No one wants to see the Bronx burning again except the progressive Democrats who use race, crime and black urban communities as pawns in their quest for more power.

With the death of Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings, the city of Baltimore has a fresh chance to elect a representative that will lead them out of the pitiful corruption, broken policies and cronyism of the Democratic Party. And interestingly, there are a slew of black Republican candidates running for the office.

Baltimore needs a representative with the guts of former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and one who can seize victory despite the grip Soros money has had in local races. As President Trump said to blacks during his 2016 presidential bid, “What have you got to lose?” But I would take it one step further.
