It’s Ok to Be White–Except When It’s Not

In case you haven’t been paying attention, it is no longer okay to be white. If you should have the bad judgment to say so publicly or distribute a simple photocopy of the phrase, “It’s ok to be white,” you may face having the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force investigate you for a hate crime or risk being expelled.

Which is exactly what happened to one Oklahoma City University School of Law student. The unnamed student was already under suspension when he distributed flyers on Halloween night that said, “It’s ok to be white.” And, according to the Oklahoman, he was expelled for violating his terms of his suspension by being on the campus.

Mind you, the student’s sign didn’t say it’s better to be white. It didn’t say it is superior to be white. It didn’t say being white is the best. Nope, the sign just declared that if your skin color happens to be white, that’s okay.

The “It’s ok to be white” signs first began appearing on campuses in the United States and Canada in 2017 around Halloween and are said to have originated as part of a 4chan troll against leftist journalists in the establishment media.

According to The College Fix, “The ultimate goal [of the activists] was to show what 4chan users called ‘normies’ that ‘leftists & journalists hate white people,’ in turn prompting these middle-of-the-road folks to turn on them in a ‘massive victory for the right in the culture war.’”

But what if the left was factually right? What if it wasn’t okay to be white? After all, according to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, white males accounted for 70 percent of suicide deaths in the United States in 2017. That is definitely not okay.

One of the reasons the established left is targeting young, university-aged men is that most of the white males who committed suicide in 2017 were aged 45 to 54 with a high school diploma or less. Most of the white men in this group died from what has been labeled in the media as “deaths of despair,” including opiate and alcohol abuse, often as a result of experiencing high unemployment.

Since this demographic has been effectively dispensed with through economic marginalization and feminism, it is now young white males who are directly in the crosshairs of the left. With no where to go from here, young white college students are fighting back using a harmless meme meant to show the duplicity of racism in the media and on campus.

The established press has canonized that being a young, white male is a social and cultural “crime,” particularly if you reject progressive ideals and identify with the military, nationalism, patriotism or conservatism, and here is the Google search to prove it:

The left bemoans the radicalization of young white men, while completely ignoring that they are the reason it has been created, birthing a new kind of despair for young men. And it’s dangerous.

The Oklahoma City University student, who remains anonymous, was interviewed by Vincent James. You can watch the interview in full at James’ Red Elephants YouTube channel.

Although the student was not charged with any crime, the FBI was still brought into the case. According to the student, he spoke with an agent who told him, “We just have to make sure you are not a threat.”

For those of us who pay attention to such things, the irony that the Dean of the School of Law has no problem with trampling on a student’s First Amendment right to free speech is not lost on us. In a two-faced statement to students and faculty, the dean praised the group that took down the signs and brought them to the attention of the administration:

“Despite what the intentions of that message may have been, the message reminds me of one fact that I know our community embraces — it’s okay to be EVERYBODY,’ Roth said in a statement. ‘Exclusion and hate will not be tolerated here. You are accepted at OCU Law no matter how you pray, what you look like, or who you love. And you always will be.”

If you still think it is “ok to be white,” you might want to take note of what happened last Sunday to a few Navy midshipmen and West Point cadets who were accused by the diversity mob of flashing a white supremacy sign during a broadcast of the Army-Navy football game December 14.

The immediate outcry by the cancel culture on the left led to the young men being investigated by the Naval Academy and the Military Academy, who concluded that the hand gesture was not a white supremacy symbol but part of a game. But being white is no game to the left. They are gunning for our young men and, frankly, this isn’t going to end well. #Reignwell
