America Has Not Forgotten Roger Stone’s Pre-Dawn Raid

America has not forgotten the predawn televised raid of political adviser Roger Stone’s home by the CNN reporter who just happened to be the only reporter hiding in the bushes. And it appears that Trump has also not forgotten.

Stone, a long-time political player and friend of President Trump, was subjected to a predawn swat team raid at his Fort Lauderdale, Florida home during the height of the Mueller investigation into the Russia collusion hoax.

Stone, who was found guilty last year of lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstructing a House investigation, however, might finally get some justice.

The Department of Justice recommended he receive seven to nine years in prison, prompting Trump to tweet about the mishandled case by the Obama-appointed federal U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson and the witch hunt by partisan prosecutors.

The very same judge who also presided over several cases involving people close to Trump, including his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort.

Following Trump’s tweets, it seems that the Justice Department is walking back its draconian sentence recommendation according to a senior DOJ official.

Following this announcement, all four prosecutors who worked on the case have withdrawn in an apparent protest of a reduced sentence, with one of them choosing to resign from the department altogether.

Stone’s sentencing is currently scheduled for February 20 and Trump’s tweets have stirred speculation that a pardon may be in the works.

“This is a horrible and very unfair situation. The real crimes were on the other side, as nothing happens to them. Cannot allow this miscarriage of justice!” Trump said.

From the completely over-the-top predawn raid many say was designed to make an example of anyone who is a friend of the president to the unusual gag order handed down by Judge Amy Berman Jackson, Stone was certainly treated as an enemy by state players.

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, when put on the hot seat by Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah), who asked him during his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee whether his office tipped off CNN of the raid on Stone’s home in February, refused to deny that his team leaked details to CNN.

CNN was the only media outlet to happen to be in place to film the raid.

“Are you aware of anyone on your team having given advanced knowledge of the raid on Roger Stone’s home to any person or the press including CNN?” Stewart asked. “I’m not going to speak to that,” Mueller responded.

Many of us on the right have been closely watching Trump’s response to Stone’s arrest and soon to be sentencing and have urged Trump to pardon him.

Trump should and must defend his defenders, otherwise no one near him will ever be safe from evil swamp creatures. Now if he can only remember Julian Assange before he dies, I could truly say that justice has been served.
