Culture Wars: New Ad Blitz Takes Aim at Woke Corporations

In what appears to be part of a recent wave of attacks against the cancel culture and woke corporations, the Consumers’ Research organization launched its “Consumers First Initiative: Protecting Consumers From Woke Corporations” program.

The first phase of the initiative begins with a more than $1 million ad campaign warning the leadership at American Airlines, Coca-Cola and Nike that it’s time they start serving their customers and stop serving woke corporations.

The ads, which will air nationally on cable and digital markets as well as local markets where the companies are headquartered, are part of the first phase of an ongoing campaign exposing companies that have increasingly put politics ahead of their customers.

Will Hild, Executive Director of Consumers’ Research, appeared on Fox’s “Ingraham Angle” Tuesday to tout the new program.

According to Hild, “We are giving consumers a voice. These companies should be putting their energy and focus on serving their customers not woke politicians.”

The ads accuse American Airlines of cozying up to the woke culture in order to distract from its billion dollar bailout while going after Coca-Cola and Nike for using forced labor.

According to Hild, “American Airlines shrunk legroom for passengers and laid off thousands of employees during the COVID pandemic while receiving billions in taxpayer bailouts. Coca-Cola and Nike have both been exploiting foreign, potentially forced, labor in China while American workers suffer. It is time these corporate giants were called to task.”
