If there is one thing America First patriots learned with the election of Donald Trump in 2016 is that the first order of business if the Republicans sweep the mid-terms in 2022 is to take out the trash.
Trump was hamstrung in his early presidency by not just the left but by the number of entrenched RINOs occupying valuable positions in his administration and in federal agencies.
Trump’s “picker” was often “off,” such as his support for House traitor and GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men—including Trump—are not going to put McCarthy’s reputation together again.
McCarthy has never been liked by Trump’s hard core base, and my prediction is he is not going to recover from his comments that were recently leaked to the media that showed what a liar and RINO he is.
Two New York Times reporters released last week passages from a book they co-authored, “This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future,” claiming McCarthy told Liz Cheney in a Jan. 10, 2021 leaked telephone call that he would counsel President Trump to resign.
McCarthy flat out denied the report, but was caught red handed when an audio of the same was released to the media.
On her show Thursday, Rachel Maddow played the audio of the phone call between McCarthy and Cheney that fully exposed McCarthy for the liar he is.

America First Republicans are not surprised by McCarthy’s duplicity, but for anyone still sitting on the fence, McCarthy’s call to use Big Tech to censor America First GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz and others who believed the election had been stolen should chill any remaining support for this RINO.
In another recording, McCarthy called for Big Tech platforms to take action against lawmakers who support Trump by calling for Twitter and Facebook to delete the accounts of those who disagreed with the election outcome.
“We can’t put up with that,” McCarthy said. “Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away, too?”
In a One America News Network report on Tuesday, Rep. Andy Biggs, the former leader of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, said that the newly released audio of McCarthy blaming President Donald Trump for the Jan. 6, 2021 “riots” and saying he would urge Trump to resign has created “a huge trust issue for me.”
Tucker Carlson and Rep. Matt Gaetz also slammed McCarthy for this comments.
While I was protecting President Trump from impeachment, Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise were protecting Liz Cheney from criticism.
This notion that you can have these sniveling calls and try to foment action against Republicans by Big Tech and DOJ is not fitting of leadership. pic.twitter.com/9zBS7DHt22

Indeed. McCarthy’s comments on censorship are far more concerning to many than his duplicity regarding his comments, as was the standing ovation he received from Republican establishment players who are lauding his obvious attempts to obfuscate the facts.
America First Republicans are in a battle against their own party and the reality is that no America First president will be successfully elected and equipped to lead as long as defective leadership is given to people such as Kevin McCarthy and RINOs like Liz Cheney.
The surprise win of President Trump in 2016 was a win for his populous base, but it also demonstrated how ill-equipped outsiders were to hit the ground running with strong leadership who also understood how the bureaucracy worked. If things are to be different in 2024, America Firsters have a lot of work to do.
Former Trump campaign strategist and top White House Adviser Steve Bannon has spoken many times about this flaw, telling NBC News in a telephone interview, “If you’re going to take over the administrative state and deconstruct it, then you have to have shock troops prepared to take it over immediately.”
In a speech in Oct. 2021 at the behest of the newly formed Association of Republican Presidential Appointees, Bannon said that Trump’s agenda was delayed by the challenges of quickly filling roughly 4,000 slots for presidential appointees at federal agencies and the steep learning curve for political officials who were new to Washington.
Many are excited to see that America First Republicans are flocking to flood local offices and school boards and Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast is a big proponent of this ground-up tactic. However, if patriots are to clean house and take out the trash, they must also be prepared to rebuild the Republican Party.
Elon Musk has been counseled by many conservative pundits to ax the existing staff at Twitter and I agree. Leaving in place those who will not carry forth the values of a new Republican Party, will not serve an America First agenda. It’s time to take out the trash.
